The “Grande Ecole” Sciences-Po

Sciences-Po is Europe’s most competitive university in the field of social sciences (economy, law, history, sociology, political science). There are five regional campuses with classes taught in English:
- Europe/Asia campus in Le Havre. students must have an excellent command of English (English B-High in ISP with excellent TOEFL results), an Asian language and French as a foreign language (regardless of the level students have attained).
- Middle Eastern/Mediterranean campus in Menton on the French Riviera. Courses are taught in English with an obligation to learn Arabic and French.
- Central and Eastern Europe campus in Dijon where two programmes are offered in English or in French. Students who are not coming from Central Europe can learn Czech, Hungarian or Polish.
- Franco-German campus in Nancy offers a trilingual curriculum in French, German and English.
- Latin-America/Spain/Portugal campus located in Poitiers is intended for students with a good command of English, French and either Spanish or Portuguese.
The first two years are spent on either of the campuses, and the third year is spent abroad. Thereafter, all undergraduate students meet on the Paris campus to follow a two-year Sciences-Po Master’s programme of their choice.

In partnership with Cambridge University, this university accepts a small number (about 20) of outstanding bilingual students who will study law in Cambridge for two years and then in Paris for two further years. (BA of Arts from Cambridge and Master’s degree from Paris-Assas). Possibility to enrol in the Law Society (Solicitors) or to the “Barreau.”
Tuition fees: Approximately 3000£ per year for the Cambridge stay for European students, much higher for overseas students.
Paris 2 (Assas) offers also a similar partnership programme (French Law – Common Law) with theUniversity College Dublin.(2 years in Dublin, 2 years in Paris). Also,

Science Faculty, students can prepare for a Bachelor degree in Science and Technology. In the first year, students follow courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences and Computer Science taught in English; in the second year, the English proportion varies depending upon choices by the students. French as a foreign language is part of the syllabus. After the Bachelor in Science, students may apply for an engineering school or for a Master’s programme.
